How GERMAN HOUSE handles your data on this website.

  2. What we collect and why

    Browser language preference (gh-lang): stored in your browser’s localStorage when you choose EN, DE or RU. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR — your action plus our legitimate interest in keeping your preference between visits. Retention: until you clear your browser data.

    Server logs: Vercel (our hosting provider) automatically processes your IP address and user-agent string to deliver the page, protect against abuse and ensure availability. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in security and operations. Retention: up to 30 days, then deleted.

    Email and phone contact: if you click a mailto: or tel: link, your email client or phone app handles the communication. The website itself does not collect or transmit the content of your message. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a)/(b) GDPR — your initiation of contact.

  3. What we do not do

    • We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
    • We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party analytics or marketing tracker.
    • We do not profile visitors or make automated decisions about them (Art. 22 GDPR).
    • We do not sell or share your data with third-party advertisers.

  4. Recipients and third-country transfers

    Vercel Inc. (United States) operates the hosting infrastructure under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. No other processors are engaged for the public website.

  5. Your rights

    You have the right at any time to:

    • request access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
    • request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
    • request deletion (Art. 17);
    • request restriction of processing (Art. 18);
    • request data portability (Art. 20);
    • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21);
    • withdraw any consent at any time without affecting prior processing (Art. 7(3));
    • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). For DACH visitors, your local data-protection authority is competent.

  6. Cookies and local storage

    This website sets no HTTP cookies.

    The only browser-storage entry is gh-lang, a short string (en / de / ru) saved when you choose a language. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser.
